I'll start off with explaining the difference of a scroll and a manual.
A scroll is a piece of paper used to insert into a book called "a manual"
A manual is a book which is used to allow you to insert scrolls inside.
If you dont understand what I'm talking about then thats cause I'm only saying it to further confuse the newbies.

Tang Manual A - Z
1) A manual has four categories namely:-
*Active External Attack Bonus
*Active Internal Attack Bonus
*Active Offense Support Bonus
*Active Defense Support Bonus
2) You can erase *Active Internal Attack Bonus from the list because Tangs dont cast Tai Yi from their fingertips. We do not have any spells whatsoever.
3) Anything to do with projectile attacks falls under the *Active External Attack Bonus category.
4) Anything to do with traps falls under the *Active Offense Support Bonus
5) The list is as follows:-
*Active External Attack Bonus
Scrolls to insert:-
*Guided Arrow
*Storm Needle
*Showering Skies
*note: only put these specific scrolls if you have Tang manual [Heaven Seal Verse]. This is because Tang manual, which has a starting percent of 11% plus minus, is designed for projectile attacks not traps. We are GoDS of projectiles not traps. Traps are just there to support us.
*Active Offense Support BonusScrolls to insert:-
*Inner Sight
*Penetrating Poison
*Penetrating Thorn
*Deadly Needle
*Sandman Trap
*Envenom
*Projectile Making
*Detoxify [not sure]
*Star Absorbing Formation Ultimate [I assume, cause its a trap]
